Overview

For my master’s program, I created the brand and can design for SIPZ Energy, a playful and refreshing take on traditional energy drinks. The goal of the project was to move away from the aggressive and edgy aesthetic that often dominates the energy drink market and instead craft a visual identity that felt approachable, vibrant, and fun. I explored a bold color palette paired with dynamic typography to convey energy and movement, while still keeping the look clean and modern. By incorporating playful graphic elements, the design strikes a balance between being eye-catching on the shelf and approachable for a wide audience.

This exercise was not just about creating an attractive can, but about building a cohesive brand identity. I considered how SIPZ Energy would stand out in a competitive market by defining a brand personality rooted in positivity, excitement, and inclusivity. The project allowed me to experiment with storytelling through design—expressing the idea that energy can be uplifting and enjoyable rather than aggressive.
